Explosion protection – an important topic for many customers

Task
In the chemical industry and other sectors, industrial trucks are used in potentially explosive atmospheres. Even in such hazardous environments, our trucks must continue to operate with maximum safety and reliability.

Solution
The trucks are adapted to satisfy the requirements of ex-proof equipment and offer optimum explosion protection – with temperature monitoring, conductive tyres, antistatic fabric covers or forks clad in stainless steel.

Retail/e-commerce       

+C! truck for different pallets

Task
The truck must be able to transport CHEP display pallets as well as Euro pallets.

Solution
Our engineers made a number of modifications based on our ECE 310 truck: the drive frame was reinforced and the support arms were extended due to the new load centre. The individual forks were equipped with separate lift control, and lateral load holders were added at the rear.

The customer uses his trucks in a corrosive environment and requires a solution that increases their durability.

Solution
Jungheinrich special build expands the capabilities of the ECE 320: a vacuum gripper with scissor arm is fitted and the drive frame is widened. We also reinforce the backrest.

Task
Cable reels weighing up to 1600 kg need to be transported.

Solution
To move the cable reels safely from A to B, our engineers fitted the ERE 225 with a special support unit.

Every year, 20,000 trucks are produced in the 43,000 m² plant. Who should I contact if I require a +C! truck?

If you are interested in a +C! truck, simply contact the relevant Jungheinrich sales unit in your region. Our sales engineers will assess your requirements and forward your enquiry so that you can receive a detailed quotation.

How long after submitting the inquiry will I receive my quotation?

The processing time largely depends on the complexity of your +C! truck. Enquiries involving minor modifications can be answered within a few days, while more complex requests requiring drawings and visualisations may take 3 to 4 weeks to process. In extremely complex cases, we are more than happy to visit you on site to gain a clear understanding of your specific requirements in a personal meeting.

What does the delivery time of a +C! truck comprise?

For minor modifications, the standard delivery time of a truck is increased by 2 to 3 weeks for the +C! element(s). If we need to modify the actual structure of a truck, the delivery time is increased by 16 to 25 weeks. We will inform you of the exact delivery time for your customised +C! truck in your quotation.

How much does a +C! truck cost?

The trucks from our existing range also serve as good indicators when it comes to costs. Depending on the amount of work, these costs are increased by the individual expenditure arising in the special build process.
